College of Humanities and Sciences
The College of Humanities and Sciences offers 10 majors, 14 minors, and 2 specializations, allowing students to combine the study of ideas and skill sets across a variety of fields.
College of Humanities and Sciences students might find themselves in a chemistry lab, collecting samples in nearby Kalmia Gardens, working on social science research in the community, discussing and crafting messages in Communications or English classes, or applying political or psychological theories in one of our classrooms.
Disciplines in the College of Humanities and Sciences share values for critical thinking, independent research, and real-world application of the skills and ideas that students encounter in the classroom. Faculty engage students in research and also in conversations about possible futures, both personal and professional.
